The North Coast Men’s Chorus takes seriously its duty as a non-profit organization to benefit the public good. As such, NCMC shares the time and talents of its members and volunteers with many worthy causes throughout the year. We perform regularly for public events, and in support of charitable organizations and causes. Each year NCMC performs at several churches in support of inclusiveness. We also donate our non-musical time and efforts to many worthy causes.
NCMC has partnered with other non-profit organizations in support of their events. We have worked with the LGBT Community Center of Greater Cleveland, the Cleveland International Film Festival and other organizations to support and sponsor their events.
In particular, the North Coast Men’s Chorus focuses on outreach to support young people, from infants to young adults. We have partnered for many years with Providence House to support their crisis nursery for babies and toddlers in dire circumstances. We have supported many programs for youth of all sexual orientations and gender identities through our annual Mardi Gras fundraiser. During our 28th Season, NCMC has launched a major college outreach program to share our message of positivity and hope with LGBT students and their allies. Most recently, NCMC partnered with Albert Einstein Academy, an inclusive charter school in Lakewood, to provide gifts and messages of support to their students during the 2023 holiday season.
