NCMC kicks off our 30th Season with your favorite way to kick off the holiday season – our annual holiday concert. You’ll find our guys waiting Under the Mistletoe, ready to sing songs guaranteed to get you in the mood for the most festive time of the year. Sit back and enjoy carols, holiday standards, and “tinselized” dance numbers with outrageous costumes. This is one concert that will be the right size, the right color, and the right gift for you and everyone on your shopping list.

Broadway and Recording Artist Maureen McGovern is joining the North Coast Men’s Chorus to celebrate our 30th Anniversary. NCMC will start the evening off and then Maureen will thrill you with some of her favorite songs, joined by the men of NCMC on several selections!  Gaining fame for cinematic themes like Oscar-winners, “The Morning After” and “We May Never Love Like This Again”, Maureen has continued to dazzle with a 45 year career of recordings, concerts, theater, film, television, radio and songwriting.

With the close of our 30th Season, it’s about time to think about the next 30 years! But before we leave this anniversary year, we have one more concert that is sure to thrill you with all the wonder and joy that the North Coast Men’s Chorus has built our reputation on. “It’s About Time” will tip its hat to our past and then march boldly into the future and our dreams for what is yet to come. And songwriters have long been fascinated with water in its various forms – rain, seas, oceans, rivers, and teardrops. Join NCMC as we explore some of these songs– everything from Trickle, Trickle to Cry Me a River to Singin’ in the Rain! We’ll also throw in some dance songs that will make you sweat and songs that will have you dreaming about a great day at the beach.

Fifty years ago, in June 1969, two events happened – the Cuyahoga River caught fire and the Stonewall riots in New York City marked the start of the modern gay rights movement in the United States. While they are totally unrelated, we have figured out how to merge them into a concert that will look at our past, our present, and our future. Come and celebrate how far we have come – both as a region and as a community.
